Late Professor (Dr.) P.N. Behl
(Founder of Sage Herbals)

Established in 1990, SAGE HERBALS was founded by Late Professor (Dr.) P.N. Behl, world renowned Dermatologist in India. He was also awarded by Government of India as Father Of Dermato-Surgery. His creativity, dedication and optimistic approach lead him in this path and help him in achieving phenomenal success. Despite of being an proficient physician, he also worked as a teacher, researcher, writer, farmer and missionary worker.

Dr. P.N. Behl held many posts such as professor and HOD of  Dermatology at Maulana Azad Medical College and L.N.J.P.N. Hospital in New Delhi, visiting professor of Jawahar Lal Nehru Occupational Therapy Institute and Lady Harding Medical College. Dr. Behl has addressed many scientific, medical and social problems of national and international importance in 13 books and more than 300 articles written by himself. He visited USSR, US, China, Japan, Europe, Africa and Far East to provide lectures of Dermatosurgery & Dermatology.

Moreover, he has established 'Skin Institute & School of Dermatology' in New Delhi and it is leading the Dermatology Diseases Hospital of Asia. Some other units set up by him are  Dr. Behl Wholistic Health Centre, Delhi and  Rural-Cum-Industrial Skin Health Institute, Uttar Pradesh. He was always ready to contribute for human services without any price, especially to poor people.

Perhaps he was the only person who has written a book on his own kidnapping named as "THE LORD OF DARKNESS". The book was published by M/s Minerva Press, UK describing the kidnapping episodes. He was kept for fifteen days in a ice-cold sugarcane field in 1994. He follow tactics of John Banyan and other prisoners who fought smartly against the circumstances and won.
